Animal Care & Services
Is a two-year course which caters to students interested in a career in veterinary sciences. In Animal Care & Services, students are not only taught about animal anatomy, health, and breed, but also participate in numerous labs which provide real-world experience as workers in the veterinary field. Taught by our Ag Advisor Mrs. Ehnat, juniors and seniors can enroll in ACS1, and continue their second year in ACS2 to further cultivate their knowledge of veterinary science.
Students are provided a variety of labs to participate in and gain experience from. From venipuncture to bandage-wrapping, practicing restraints or putting on halters, ACS allows students to be introduced to essential skills in the veterinary field.
